Booking Terms
Payment
Full payment by cheque or bank transfer at time of booking (last minute booking - cash on arrival)
A deposit of £100, to cover breakage or damage and cleaning costs over and above the norm, to be paid at time of booking. This will be refunded within 14 days after your stay.
Week - Friday to Friday.
Weekend - Friday and Saturday.
Power, fuel, bed linen, towels, welcome pack and household products- included in the price.
Cancellation and Insurance
Cancellation Policy - cancel: 90 days or more prior to your stay- 90% refund, more than 30 days but less than 90-50% refund, less than 30 days, we are sorry, but no refund.
Non-availability of accommodation
We would only cancel your holiday if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control, and a full refund would be issued. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.
Conditions
Check in after 2.00pm.
Check out by 10.00am. If the room is not vacated by this time then you will be charged for another night. We will offer guests the facility to hold luggage, after 10.00am, until the end of the day of the date of departure.
On vacating, the property should be left clean and tidy.If the property require extra cleaning over and above the norm then that cost will be deducted from the deposit at a rate of £10 per hour.
No smoking inside the Lodge.
No pets.
Not on mains drainage, so WC's use tissue paper only. A bin is provided for cotton wool, sanitary towels/ contraceptives.
Access for garden maintenance (We will make every effort to do this in your absence).
Liability / complaints / warranty
Castle Cross Holidays does not accept liability for any omissions or errors and reserves the right to change the information published on the site.
We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or to your vehicles and their contents or to your possessions in general.
If you have any complaints about bookings or your stay, please notify the owners as early as possible and we will do all we can to resolve matters.
You warrant you are at least 18 years of age. All bookings are personal to you and may not be sold, assigned or otherwise transferred.
Privacy Policy
Personal information, collected from you, is used to fulfil your requests for services or to send you confirmation details or, if necessary, to inform you of updates or changes to your travel plans.
Castle Cross Holidays does not modify, copy, distribute, or sell any of your personal file information.
Castle Cross Holidays will not seek or hold information about you, which is excessive for it's purposes and will endeavour to keep any information about you, up-to-date and accurate.
Castle Cross Holidays will delete, from its systems, all details held about you, which are no longer necessary.
In using our website you consent to the collection and use of this information in the ways described above.
Accessibility Information
Apple Tree Lodge is a bungalow. It has a gravelled driveway, with a slightly inclined, tarmac path, including one step. There is a step into the wider access front door. The patio is accessed by one step. Inside, there is an open-plan, tiled kitchen / diner / lounge, with no steps. Please contact us if you require a detailed access statement.
