Local Interest & Links
Apple Tree Lodge is the white bungalow just to the right of the tree.
Set in beautiful countryside, it is a paradise for walkers and nature lovers.
There are 13.5 miles of trails through the woodland, adjacent to the Lodge.
Similarly, for horse riders, there are a number of bridle paths. A local stable offers hire arrangements and lessons.
For cyclists the terrain makes for challenging riding, but within a short drive there are excellent cycle paths on the Somerset Levels.
If you enjoy good food, there are many producers you can visit locally.
We have good local pubs and restaurants, many of historical interest.
Our county of Somerset and our neighbours, Devon and Dorset, offer a wide range of different scenery and places of interest to visit.
